To check the reading order, select the slide, and then press the Tab key repeatedly until you've gone through all objects in the slide. Select an object and then select Bring Forward or Send Backward. To change the reading order, rearrange objects in the list. A screen reader starts reading from the bottom of a list. ![]() Objects in the slide are listed in reverse order. If you need a custom slide or you've modified the pre-existing slide, you can fix the reading order. In the New slide menu, select a slide layout that best suits your purposes, except the blank layout. ![]() To add new accessible slides to your presentation, select Home > New slide.
